Abdo Kabab, a locally owned and operated kabab restaurant, will soon be opening in Orlando, according to a recent filing with the State of Florida. The restaurant will be located at 12376 SR-535, within Suite 105 of a small commercial center that also houses a Subway and a U & Me Revolving Hot Pot.

Owner Abd Houssini tells What Now Orlando that he was opening soon, before the end of the year, but did not want to provide further information about specific dates.

When asked what exactly the restaurant will be serving, Mr. Houssini says “In a few days you can go to our website and see it there.”

Until the fateful moment arrives in which the public has access to the restaurant’s full offerings, readers and partners can safely assume Abdo Kabab will serve typical fast-casual Mediterranean fare.

In any case, Abdo Kabab will be a welcome addition to Mediterranean fast casual brick-and-mortar dining in Orlando. The nearest such restaurant is Halal Food Express, at 6083 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, in Kissimmee.
