Dominican restaurant Maracas will soon be re-opening at a spacious new location in Kissimmee, according to recent public records. The restaurant will be found at 3359 S Orange Blossom Trail, near Popeyes and Burger King.
Co-owner Leonardo Lopez (who runs the establishment alongside his wife Margarita) tells What Now Orlando that the new space will be found within a new eight-suite shopping plaza that the Lopez duo built up — Maracas will be taking up three of these. The others will be rented out by the Lopez duo to other tenants.
In total, the restaurant will take up 3600 square feet and seat 120 (a capacity increase of more than 100% from the previous location’s 51). In addition, the restaurant will feature a paved outdoor dining area with umbrellas, “similar to a Starbucks patio”, Lopez explains.
“Maracas serves authentic dishes prepared using top-notch ingredients,” the official website states. “By seasoning our meals exclusively with fresh herbs and no artificial flavoring, Maracas is able to ensure quality meals.”
