According to recent public records, a new independent establishment is soon coming to Maitland.

“Nostalgic about your Island,” a recent post begins, captioning a vivid picture of a pork dish. You realize you have all the ingredients on hand, so you make it. Delicious!!!”
“We called it El Morro: Pork shoulder slow-cooked with caramelized onions on top, served with basmati rice, gandules (pigeon peas), and chorizo, plus mixed salad on the side for the conscience.”
