The locally owned and operated Mexican-inspired restaurant, Matt’s Tiki Taco, will soon be opening in Melbourne, according to a recent filing with the State of Florida. The restaurant will be located at 900 West Eaugallie Boulevard, in a spacious two-story building which used to hold Coyle Flooring Showroom.

What Now Orlando reached out to owner Matt Lutz, who runs LAI LLC, to inquire about menu options, potential opening dates, building details, and other pertinent information, but he was not immediately available for detail.

In any case, potential customers and partners can safely assume that the restaurant will serve tacos and other Mexican fare, perhaps with a Florida beachtown twist, as the word “Tiki” suggests. As the restaurant will be located on State Road 518 which connects mainland Florida to the barrier island on which Melbourne stands, partners and local supporters can rely on the restaurant to attract significant attention and visitors coming through the corridor.

What Now Orlando will update the story with additional information as soon as it is readily available.
