McDonald’s, the nation’s most famous place for burgers and fries, is opening an additonal location in Orlando.
McDonald’s USA, LLC, the operating entity for McDonald’s restaurants in the United States, filed permits with the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation (DBPR) for a restaurant to be located at 8380 Clarcona Ocoee Road, at the intersection of Clarcona Ocoee Road and Lakewood Avenue. An opening date has not been announced.
McDonald’s isn’t the only restaurant to open in that neighborhood. Ocoee Village Center, a mixed use center still under development, has already signed lease deals with Papa Johns, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Jersey Mike’s Subs, and Healthy Meal Service with a national grocer, a quick service restaurant, and more to be announced at a later date.
When it opens, this McDonald’s will share a city with the world’s largest McDonald’s — a massive 19,000 square foot restaurant that features an arcade, playground, and unique offerings just minutes from Walt Disney World.
Global fast food giant McDonald’s opened in 1940s, with Ray Kroc building it into the fast food empire it has become. Currently, there are more than 40,000 McDonald’s restaurants in more than 100 countries, making it the world’s largest fast food chain. Still, the chain never rests on its laurels. It constantly tests new recipes at its Chicago test kitchen, and strives to maintain its reputation as offering good value and friendly service.
