Soraya, a locally-owned Mediterranean coffee shop, will soon be opening its doors in Ormond Beach, according to recent public records. The establishment will be located at 156 E Granada Blvd, across from Starbucks.

“It’s a coffee shop and dessert establishment,” owner Fay Toutounchian tells What Now Orlando. “We will serve Turkish coffee, traditional tea, espresso drinks, soup, salads, paninis, and Turkish breakfast.”

Toutounchian explains that the establishment will feature both indoor and outdoor seating, with a total of “about forty seats.”

When asked about her motive to open at this particular location in town, Toutounchian points to practical reasons.

“It’s a great, growing area, close to the beach, with many nice residents and businesses nearby.”

If all goes well with the pre-opening processes, Fay and her team should be up and running in early summer.
