The budding ice cream and coffee brand, Milkster Nitrogen Creamery, looks to make its Florida debut with an upcoming store at 5178 County Line Rd in Lakeland, according to a recent project filing with the State of Florida.
Franchisee Joel Covitz tells What Now Orlando that the store will take up a 1200 sq ft space and serve “high-quality ice cream product made right in front of the customer, frozen with liquid nitrogen” alongside a wide selection of espresso-based drinks and nitrogen infused coffee. For now, Covitz explains, the store will have some indoor seating but eventually work in outside seating.
Founded in Michigan, Milkster Nitrogen Creamery describes its approach to ice cream making as using “liquid nitrogen to custom make every order of ‘nicecream’ while you wait, this provides a super smooth texture while eliminating the need for extra preservatives and emulsifires. We strive to use the most organic, natural ingredients available.”
The Lakeland location will open on October 8th, with future locations in Clearwater and Jackson to soon follow.
