Birra y Sazon, a concept brought to us by restaurateur Jassan Kattar, is planned to appear in the Davenport area in a few months. The address will be 43418 Highway 27, just off of interstate 4, and it will be replacing the Tropicana Motel.
What Now spoke briefly with Kattar on Tuesday to confirm that construction will soon start on the space, and that he expects to have the doors open in five to six months.
We can expect to find Birra y Sazon nearing a Popeye’s Louisiana Chicken, Panda Express, Dunkin’ Donuts and Davenport Ale House.
A plan review filed with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation on March 5 is still in process.
Unfortunately, the type of fare Kattar will serve is unclear, and the overall theme of the concept hasn’t been disclosed either. What Now is waiting on Kattar to provide more information.
