Specifics at this time are slim, but Zest Bar & Grill and V’Z Fine Dining will operate within 315 E Summerlin Street, Suite A. According to ownership partner Scott Cammarata, the two restaurants will offer separate dining experiences, but will be housed in the same unit and connected indoors.
In an interview with What Now on Monday, Cammarata shared that VZ’s will serve Italian food, and Zest will offer more casual, bar and grill dining.
They are currently in the process of acquiring permits and will soon commence construction, which will be focused on building out the kitchen needed to support two restaurants.
A recent plan review filing with the city on January 14th is still “in process.”
Cammarata commented on their hopes of opening soon: “We’re under a 100 days out. We’re probably looking at 90, but right now COVID dictates what we can and cannot do depending on the supply chain.”
The location will be in walking distance to other restaurants and businesses in the Bartow area, such as Front Page Brewing Company, Sista’s with Soul and Cookie Jar Bakeshop and Eatery.
Cammarata confirmed that this Zest Bar & Grill has no connection to an eponymous location in Pennsylvania.
