Another location of Kentucky Fried Chicken seems to be on the way. What Now Orlando on Monday came across a plan review filing with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation for a new unit in Kissimmee.
Expect to find the fast-food joint located at 8557 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, which appears to be the location of a Pizza Hut. At this address, the KFC will neighbor other restaurants like: Dominoes Pizza, La Fuente Restaurant, Bakery & Café and 126 Chinese Restaurant.
According to the filing, the new unit is owned by Celebration Restaurant Group, who boasts that they are among the largest Yum! Brands franchisees. They currently operate 102 Pizza Huts, 40 Taco Bells and 7 KFCs throughout the southeast.
What Now reached out to Andy Rosen, the CEO of Celebration Restaurant Group for more information, but we have yet to hear back. It is unknown when the new unit will open. However, the plan review, which was initiated on June 6 and is still in progress, suggests that the location is still in the planning stage.
