Restaurateur Vanie Correia is bringing Too A Tea, a family centric concept, to Melbourne soon. Her new establishment will appear at 3212 Lake Washington Road.

The concept is simple for Correia: she wants to create a welcoming place for the whole family. She hopes to encourage children and seniors alike to come to Too A Tea and enjoy tea, coffee, sandwiches, wraps and more. This is her first foray into restaurant ownership.

In a phone conversation on Monday, Correia confirmed that she is waiting on permits and then will begin construction. Once it all begins, Correia’s contractor estimates that the build-out will take three weeks. The expected opening date is March 31.

Once open, the concept’s hours will be 6 AM to 11 PM seven days a week.

Across the street from Mallard’s Landing Golf Course, Too A Tea will open in Lake Washington Crossing, nearing a Publix supermarket, Mugs Pub and Banzai Sushi & Thai.

A plan review filed with the state on February 14 is still “in process.”
