Orlandians can expect to find Plantees in a newly renovated building beside Will’s Pub at 1030 N. Mills Ave. The 100% plant based concept will serve burgers and shakes. Other details about the concept and its menu are not public.

In a phone interview on Thursday, Executive Chef Nick Grecco commented that he and his business partners, Keith and Romi Mawardi of Team Marketing Group, are waiting to reveal more information as they near opening.

An opening date isn’t public either, but Grecco offered that it will be in “spring 2022.” The space is nearly complete, and Team Marketing Group co-founder Romi Mawardi recently posted on his Instagram a sequence of photos depicting the space as it was being overhauled. The new space seems to feature a porch-style outdoor area.

According to a report from Orlando Weekly, the space used to operate under the moniker “Dirty Laundry,” and served as an outdoor event space. Now, Dirty Laundry 2.0 has moved to a shared space behind Will’s Pub and Lil Indies.
