Juice and coffee shop sensation, Joe & the Juice, is opening its first Orlando-area location.
The Denmark-based chain is opening a spot off U.S. 17 near Lee Road in Winter Park, between Mooyah and Sephora, according to WESH. Signage is plastering the storefront, although an opening date has not been announced.
In 2002, Kaspar Basse started Joe & the Juice as a tiny juice bar inside a clothing store in Copenhagen. The tiny shop-within-a-shop was equipped with a tiny beverage fridge, counter and ashtray. Soon, the tiny shop grew a loyal following for its juices, memorable music soundtrack, and secret handshake which gave Joe & the Juice a cool, indie vibe.
Today, there are about 400 locations throughout the world, with nearly 80 in the U.S. Currently, there are a dozen Joe & the Juice locations in South Florida, with another planned for Boca Raton. When it opens, the Winter Park location will be the first Central Florida Joe & the Juice.
Locations offer guests a selection of hot coffees, lattes, matcha, and chai along with cold lattes, cardamom beverages, and more. Signature juice blends include the “Feel Good” with carrot, turmeric, ginger, lemon, apple, and olive oil; and the “Joe’s Green Mile” with spinach, kiwi, avocado, lemon, and apple. The shops also sell functional smoothies, breakfast bowls, and sandwiches.
