Piesanos Stone Fired Pizza is considering opening a new location in the Orlando area, according to co-owner Jerry Roberts.
Mr. Roberts tells What Now Orlando that a recent report inaccurately reported Piesanos planning for an upcoming location in Lake Mary, when Piesanos has not in fact signed any lease. The company is currently in the process of investigating potential locations, including Altamonte, Oviedo, and Lake Nona and hopes to make a final decision about location by the end of 2022. In any case, Mr. Roberts tells What Now Orlando, the project is “50/50” as of now.
Founded in 2009 by five restaurateurs in Gainesville, Piesanos has grown into a budding pizza franchise in Florida, with 11 locations throughout the state. The menu features a wide range of pizza, calzone, sandwiches, soups and salads.
If the project does go forward, it will be the 4th location in the Orlando area.
