Dan Hanson will open Tip A Few 2 at 6890 N. Atlantic Avenue in Cape Canaveral this fall. During the late 90s and early 2000s, the location was home to Tip A Few Tavern & Bistro, owned by Ed Liquori.
According to Hanson, Liquori sold the 1,550 square-foot business in 2011, and a couple of restaurants have occupied the space since, most recently Darci’s Bacon Blues. The building became available again about six months ago, and Hanson decided to revive Tip A Few. Liquori has agreed to come back and run the kitchen.
A bar and grill concept, Tip A Few 2 will serve burgers, wings, seafood and sandwiches, along with wine and beer selections. Hanson, who is a first-time entrepreneur, describes it as an upscale restaurant and sports bar with live music a few times each week. He hopes to open sometime in September 2021.
