A family entertainment center and food hall is coming to Orlando when Round1 Bowling & Arcade opens at the Florida Mall.
Orlando Business Journal reports that Round1 will lease part of the Sears space for its new entertainment center and food hall. Transformco Properties confirms the deal on its site, adding that up to 72,000 square feet of the Sears footprint remains available.
The Florida Mall is ranked one of the top five Simon’s malls in the country in terms of foot traffic and is anchored by Macy’s Dillard’s, Zara, and the Florida Hotel and Conference Center. The mall is in an ideal location for both locals and tourists, clocking in at less than five miles from Universal Studios and the Orlando Convention Center.
Round1 was founded in 1080 in Japan by Masahiko Sugino. In 2010, it entered into the U.S. market as Round1 Bowling and Arcade. Currently, there are more than 50 locations throughout the U.S., with more to come.
The entertainment centers cater to both adults and families with its wide range of games and activities including bowling, arcade games, karaoke, and billards. What sets it apart from many other family entertainment centers is its food and drink.
In addition to the typical family menu of burgers and pizza, Round1’s food court area serves ramen, baos, bowls, and more. The complex also offers a full bar with value-priced drinks.
