After a 7-year run at its College Park location, RusTeak is moving to a new space at 101 S Eola Drive in the Thornton Park district with plans to open to the public this weekend.

Owners Brian Buttner and Jonathan Canonaco purchased the former Menagerie Eatery & Bar in 2018 with plans to open a new RusTeak Thornton Park location. Buttner and Canonaco also own The Stubborn Mule and Broken Cage restaurants.

RusTeak is an independently-owned New American restaurant sourcing fresh and local ingredients. The menu features hand-crafted food, cocktails, wine, and craft beers.

“RusTeak is a restaurant that can showcase our passion for hospitality, food and of course wine,” reads the restaurant’s Facebook page.

RusTeak Thornton Park will open for brunch Saturday, July 17 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday. Dinner reservations will begin at 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 22.
