Tampa-based Salt Shack on The Bay will be opening an impressive new facility in Clermont, according to a recent report in the Orlando Business Journal.
“Salt Shack on the Bay, which opened in 2019 in Tampa, has leased the 6,670-square-foot space at 846 W. Osceola St. on the south shore of Lake Minneola and in the space that previously was home to Lilly’s on the Lake,” the report states.
“Now, city of Clermont officials are exploring the idea of redeveloping Clermont’s existing 8th Street Pier — which is adjacent the restaurant space — into something more substantial that would allow docking for 76 boats and eight jet skis.”
Excitingly, the location’s amenities do not end there.
“The redevelopment plans also may include a lakefront amphitheater. The project is still in its early stages with next steps still to be announced,” the report adds.
Defining their concept on the official website, Salt Shack states “Salt Shack On the Bay is a rare combination of prime location, gulf to table food, and casual beachfront bar scene. Accessible by land or sea, guests will be able to dock up or drive up. Boaters are welcome to leave their vessels at our dock and enjoy a day under the palms.”
