According to the Village News, construction crews have started work at the site of the second Outback Steakhouse in The Villages’ area.

The 2.36-acre site at Trailwinds Village on Seven Mile Dr in Wildwood has been cleared for the construction of a new, 5,000-square-foot building, the report states.

The development will also house a Crumbl and Mattress Warehouse, the report states, adding that the project also calls for the addition of 100 parking spaces and access roads at the site, which is situated next to ABC Liquors.

Those unfamiliar with Outback can imagine it much like similar roadhouse-style sit down restaurants across the United States, featuring a menu heavily based on steak and other meat cuts and a wide variety of appetizers—most notably, Outback’s favorite Bloomin’ Onion.

No opening date has yet been released.
