The international sandwich chain giant, Subway, will soon be opening another location in Altamonte Springs, according to a recent filing with the State of Florida. The restaurant will be located at 1013 W SR 434, within Suite 1050, near eateries such as Bayridge Sushi and Korea House.

The restaurant will be run by DiPasqua Enterprises, a restaurant management group that specializes in Subway shops. Narrating the company history on the official website, DiPasqua Enterprises states “Peter Sr. and Fred DeLuca invested their life-savings of $20,000 and along with $2,000 from Pete Jr., opened their first location on East Colonial Drive in Orlando, FL in April of 1977.”

“Once they felt they understood the business, plans were put in place to open more locations and they became SUBWAY’s first multi-unit franchisee.” Today, the group manages over 110 locations throughout Florida.

What Now Orlando reached out to Ken Runge, Director of Leasing, Construction, & Development at DiPasqua Enterprises, to inquire about potential opening dates and other specifics, but he was not immediately available for comment.

Known for its made-to-order sandwiches in 6-inch or foot-long sizes, Subway is the most ubiquitous restaurant chain in the world, with over 36,000 locations as of 2021.
