Swig, the popular dirty soda shop, is opening a location in Hamlin.

According to franchise partner, Chase Herbert, construction just started this past Monday on the 1,000 square foot drive-thru shop at New Independence Parkway and Hamlin Groves Trail. The soda shop will be located next to Urban Air Adventure Park — making it the perfect place for active families to refresh after an afternoon of play.  According to Herbert, the anticipated opening date is summer 2026.

Swig put dirty sodas — beverages that blend soda with fruit purees, syrups, creams, and more to create new taste sensations — on the map. The company was founded in 2010 by Nicole Robison in St. George, Utah as an alternative to coffee drinks.

The small soda shop became wildly popular for its sweet, fruity, and fun creations like the Shark Attack, made with Sprite, lemonade, and blue raspberry with a gummy shark floating in the drink; the Buttery Beer with root beer, butterscotch, and vanilla creme, and the Cherry Bomb with Pepsi, cherry, coconut, and vanilla creme.

Swig recently broke a Guinness World Record for serving 4,466 drinks in one hour. It beat the prior record of 2,000 drinks served in one hour. That achievement is just the start of Swig’s enormous popularity and growth.  There are about 140 locations throughout Utah, Texas, and Arizona — with Florida and North Carolina on the radar for more Swig locations to come.
