Tactical Brewing Company, the beloved local brewery known for its “strategically chaotic beers” has announced major news.

The brewery is moving from its current home to 4916 New Broad Street in Baldwin Park, taking up the former Metro Gymnastics space. The move is expected to be completed in 2026, though an exact date has not been announced.

Tactical announced the move on Instagram, saying, “We have officially signed the lease to a new location! We’re extremely excited for this next chapter. Baldwin Park is our home so we are staying put and the current tasting room will operate business as usual until our new facility/ food hall/ concert venue in Baldwin is ready to rock and roll. More details to come in the future. After 7 years, you’ve made this possible so all we can say is thank you!”

According to the Instagram post, the new location will have more indoor seating, more outdoor seating, and more food thanks to a mini food hall with five vendors. The new facility will also host live music and other events.

Veteran-owned Tactical Brewing Company is led by Doug Meyer. Although it makes delicious beers, Tactical has a greater mission. At its core is its commitment to helping veterans and first responders through supporting nonprofits, networking opportunities, and simply providing friendship and support.
