As part of a 20 location expansion plan, Kevin Carmean will open a new The Great Greek at 14152 Narcoossee Road in Orlando by the end of this year. Carmean, a local entrepreneur, first brought The Great Greek to Orlando in 2019, and now he’s wasting no time in embarking upon the expansion he’s has planned since then.
“We just submitted our permit, so we should start construction in a few weeks and be open by the end of the year,” Carmean confirmed, speaking with What Now Orlando. The Great Greek will open shop adjacent to Eagle Creek Recreation Center, so it should offer tennis plays and pool goers a hearty and refreshing post-workout meal.
The Great Greek was founded in 2011 by two restaurateurs, Trent Jones and Nick A. Della Penna, both with more than 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry. The award-winning menu offers takes on classic Greek dishes like spanakopita, gyros, souvlaki, and more. And you don’t want to skip the Fresh Feta Fries. Dips are made in-house using fresh ingredients, and the menu features desserts like Baklava Ice Cream and Rice Pudding.
