Torchy’s Tacos will begin their expansion in Florida in 2022. Biz Journals recently reported that two locations are in the works. The first being a 4,000-square-foot space at Vineland Pointe, the other is planned for Altamonte Springs. The Vineland Pointe location on Daryl Carter Parkway will serve their signature “damn good tacos” next to the new residential development, Altis Grand at Lake Willis.
The two new Torchy’s will be the first in Florida for the Austin-born company. Torchy’s Tacos began serving from a food trailer and hit it big in their local foodie scene. The company now operates 90 locations in 10 states and counting.
Floridians will soon dig in to breakfast tacos, signature munchies like queso and chips, Fried Avocado Tacos, and fresh-squeezed and frosty Margaritas.
While the company has yet to announce a more detailed plan for a Florida expansion, they have shared interest in future opportunities to serve more nearby communities. They currently have job postings listed seeking Partners in the Orlando region to lead the way for managing the new Torchy’s.
