V Pizza announced this week plans are in place to bring a new outpost of the Jacksonville-based company to Orlando. Their website places the new restaurant at Vista Centre Shoppes in a space formerly occupied by Cici’s Pizza.
With seven locations in the Jacksonville and Gainesville area, V Pizza also lists a new location heading for St. Augustine. The team teases via social media they could be heading to Tallahassee soon too.
Specializing in Neapolitan-style pizza, V Pizza serves up authenticity in their 1,000 degree wood-fired oven. The ovens, as mentioned in their social media post, are imported directly from Italy by artisan manufacturer Stefano Ferrara Forni.
Beyond wood-fired pizzas, V Pizza is also known for their wings, sandwiches, pastas, and calzones. V Pizza also created the organization V for Victory, a non-profit supporting families fighting and surviving cancer. Guests in their restaurants can opt to round up their order total to send funds directly to V for Victory.
