The popular vegan delicatessen Kind Cleaver will soon be opening a brick and mortar location in Winter Garden, according to a recent filing with the State of Florida. The restaurant will be located at 108 Main Street, in Winter Garden’s quaint downtown neighborhood, near eateries such as Thai Blossom and The Whole Enchilada.

The project, run by owner Justin Rodriguez, seems to have gained significant popularity through venues such as the Orlando Vegan Market and Gatlin Hall Artisan Market, serving a range of servings such as cuban sandwiches, chipotle “chicken” melts, mac and cheese, McRib tacos and other vegan spins on classic deli-style fare.

What Now Orlando reached out to Mr. Rodriguez to inquire about his upcoming restaurant, potential menu, and prospective opening dates, but he was not immediately available for comment.

What can be known, however, is that the restaurant will occupy the space of the former sandwich shop Melts on Main. As can be seen in photos of the previously occupying restaurant, the suite at 108 Main St is spacious and cozy with a dine-on counter, along with a small outdoor patio space with seating.

Until the brick and mortar finally opens its doors, curious readers and partners can keep an eye on the restaurant’s social media for announcements about upcoming events and appearances at local markets.
