White Castle Expanding into Volusia County

According to recent reporting, White Castle will be expanding into Volusia County for the first time.

The Columbus, Ohio-based burger chain will open a new location at 1944 LPGA Blvd. in Daytona Beach’s Tomoka Town Center in late summer 2026, creating 70 jobs, according to a news release.

The Business Journal reports that this agreement “represents a strategic milestone in White Castle’s continued expansion across Florida, reinforcing its long-term growth plans in the region, White Castle Vice President Jamie T. Richardson indicated in a prepared statement.”

“City permits, which did not include construction costs, show the restaurant will span about 2,500 square feet and include two drive-thru lanes and 40 parking spaces,” the report adds.

No opening date has been announced.
