The national fast-casual chicken franchise Zaxby’s will be soon opening a new location in Kissimmee, according to a recent project filing with the State of Florida. The new store will be located at 2825 East Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway and be near an Outback Steakhouse.
The franchise is registered under Boris Ochsenius Jr., who has been with the company since 2002, when he started as District Manager, according to Mr. Ochsenius’s LinkedIn page. Mr. Ochsenius currently operates under the company as both an owner and Area Development Manager.
While Mr. Ochsenius was not immediately available for comment, MRP Design, the architectural firm in charge of the location’s construction and design, confirmed to What Now Orlando the upcoming location and Mr. Ochsenius’s role. No projected opening date was given.
Founded in Statesboro, Georgia in 1990, Zaxby’s specializes in classic American renditions of battered chicken, such as wings, tenders, and chicken-topped salads. Boasting hundreds of locations throughout the continental United States, Mr. Ochsenius’s newest location will be the 10th Zaxby’s in the state of Florida.
