Elevate Social Lounge, a juice and kava bar for people who want to hang out and socialize in a bar-type environment but without the alcohol, has plans to open a venue next March at 400 N. Orlando Ave., Maitland.

It will be its second outlet. The first will open in downtown Bradenton in about 60 days. owner Ben Tucker said.

It’s a modern sophisticated place for people of all demographics to meet, socialize and work. Elevate serves non-alcoholic beverages ranging from coffee, kava and various botanical teas, according to leasing intel.

Elevate kava bar is expected to attract multiple demographics during the day, ranging from students looking for a study spot to entrepreneurs in need of a space to work or hold meetings to gym enthusiasts looking for a boost of energy before a workout.

At night, Elevate will transition to a more “cocktail bar vibe” for those looking for a night out at the bar — without the risk of a hangover the next day.

It won’t serve food but Elevate customers can order food from surrounding restaurants.

Each Elevate location will have two lounge spaces, a quieter tranquility lounge and a social entertainment lounge with a pool table, foosball and an area for live music or a DJ.

The lease signing at 400 N. Orlando Ave. was brokered by Sandi Bargfrede of Acre Commercial and Kellie Hero Messano of Hybridge.
