The Running Elements is working toward opening its second retail storefront at 29 NE 1st Avenue in Ocala. Joining a location in Daytona Beach, The Running Elements Ocala is slated to open some time during the first week of August according to Owner Peter Szunyogh.
Selling running shoes, gear, technology, clothing, nutrition and accessories, The Running Elements carries brands like Brooks, ASICS, New Balance, Saucony, and Hoka.
Nutrition products and supplements, including HAMMER, Huma, Scratch, GU, CLIF, and Nuun will be available for purchase inside the 1,750 square foot location in downtown Ocala.
Customers can also buy GPS and running watches and other technology. The company’s mission is to serve all runners, regardless of level of competition.
“We don’t care if you run a 5-minute mile or walk a 15-minute pace, a mile is still a mile. If you run, you are a runner no matter the distance or speed,” reads the company’s website.
