The owner of Gametime Cardz confirmed for What Now Orlando during an interview on Thursday that the brand’s first retail location will be setting up business at 7414 University Boulevard in Winter Park with plans to open sometime during the third quarter of 2021.
Located at University Square, the 3,000 square-foot space is down-the-way from Supercuts and Marco’s Pizza, and previously housed Payless Shoesource.
While the owner declined to have his name published at this time, he did verify that the business will sell trading cards of every variety, including sports cards, Pokémon cards, and Magic cards, as well as sports memorabilia.
“Between us, we’ve been doing this for 50-60 years,” he said. “We want to build in the direction of a sports business and expand opportunities for mom-and-pop businesses.”
