16 Handles, the frozen yogurt shop that offers 16 different “handles” of yogurt, is opening a shop in Chandler.
The shop has been issued a permit by the City of Chandler to build out an existing space into a  1,554 square foot frozen yogurt shop at Fulton Ranch Towne Center at 4040 S. Arizona Avenue. Permits have just been approved for owner Tom Eubanks of Gilbert Softserve, LLC, and an opening date has not been announced.
The chain was founded by Solomon Choi in 2008, who opened the first shop in New York City’s Eat Village. In 2022, 16 Handles was acquired by the brand’s largest franchisee, Neil Hershman. The chain continues to grow with plans to expand both throughout the U.S. and internationally. When it opens, the Chandler location will be the first 16 Handles in Arizona.
The frozen yogurt shop is loved for its 16 rotating flavors, selected from the company’s flavor library. There’s something for everyone since 16 Handles offers sugar-free and vegan oat milk frozen yogurt, sorbets, and ice cream in addition to traditional frozen yogurt. Guests can choose what flavor or flavors they want, then top their yogurt with their choice of toppings. 16 Handles also gives back to its community by hosting fundraisers, events, and private parties.
