Ace of Wingz, the locally-born wing shop, is opening up a Peoria restaurant at 13875 N. 83rd Avenue.

The announcement was made on Facebook, with restaurant owner, Abion Acoy adding a target opening date: “If all goes as planned, our projected opening date is May 6, 2026. Ace of Wingz Peoria is right around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited to bring this one to life! We truly appreciate everyone’s continued support throughout this journey it doesn’t go unnoticed. Stay tuned… we’re almost there.”

The craveable wing place started as a food truck, with chef/owner Acoy opening two brick and mortars in Phoenix. Now, the brand is expanding to Peoria and beyond. The wing spot’s Instagram lists two more locations (8430 W McDowell Road in Phoenix and 825 W. Southern Avenue) with construction emojis next to them, alluding to more restaurants on the way.

Ace of Wingz offers both bone-in and boneless wings in a variety of unique and classic flavors such as strawberry hot hot and lemon pepper hot. In addition, fries can be flavored and loaded with sauces and toppings like hot Cheeto, elote, and hot pizza. Can’t decide? Order a 50 wing sampler that includes five different flavors or go big with the 100 wing platter.
