Having opened its first brick-and-mortar less than two months ago, Angie’s Lobster, the innovative and affordable lobster roll restaurant already has its sights set on a considerable expansion through the beginning of 2023, with outposts planned for the SW corner of Litchfield and Waddell in Surprise, the SE corner of Glendale and 83rd Avenue in Glendale, the SW corner of Gilbert Road and Baseline Road in Gilbert, and the SE corner of Gilbert Road and Queen Creek Road in Chandler, according to the company’s website.
A representative of Angie’s Lobster couldn’t immediately be reached for comment or to confirm more specific opening dates.
Angie’s Lobster, the newest concept from Salad and Go founders Tony and Roushan Christofellis, made quite a splash when it debuted on the Valley’s dining scene with a food truck last November.
The brand has numerous claims to fame, not least of which is its commitment to providing affordable lobster roll meals that top out at $9.99, fries and drink included. What’s more, earlier this year the Christofellis’ purchased their own wharf off the coast of Maine in order to cut out unnecessary middlemen and keep their prices low.
The menu is similarly simple, with three meal options including a warm & buttered lobster roll, a chilled lobster roll, and a fried lobster tail roll. Incidentally, Angie’s has also been previewing a new breakfast menu featuring an egg and cheese meal served with either sausage or bacon, and of course, a fried half lobster tail served with eggs.
As with its other locations, the four new locations planned for 2023 will also be drive-thru.
