Boba Tealight is coming soon to the corner of Warner Road and Val Vista Drive in Gilbert, according to a pending building permit found in city public records. The new cafe is under construction at 1475 E. Warner Road.

Owner Thuong Nguyen confirmed with What Now Phoenix that not only is this his first venture, but also the first of what will hopefully be many more Boba Tealight locations in the Valley. Because construction has just begun on his shop, Nguyen could not give an exact timeframe for his opening but said that they will for sure open this year.

Nguyen is excited to serve the Valley a variety of milk teas, flavored teas, coffee, and boba. He is exploring new tea flavors such as chrysanthemum, jasmine, black, oolong, and more. There will also be slushes and smoothies on the menu, plus a selection of Tawainese street foods such as popcorn chicken, fried calamari, french fries, and fried tofu.

It sounds like Gilbert is in for a real treat, especially when you’re feeling thirsty for something sweet and refreshing. For more information, visit www.bobatealight.com and follow them on Instagram and Facebook for updates.
