Charles Barber’s Born & Bred is opening in what was previously the Truland Burgers & Greens space in Chandler this month, according to Mouth by Southwest.
A second location, which was originally meant to be the first, will open in January at 6149 N Scottsdale Rd in Scottsdale as well.
The restaurant will be open seven says a week for both lunch and dinner with Delilah Becerra overseeing the kitchens.
Barber also owns the dinner-only restaurant Aftermath. Perviously anticipated as a pizzeria, they will now be featuring favorite items from the Aftermath menu. Self-described as “you new local favorite,” their website shares the following: “Aftermath is a high-energy, modern American restaurant located in Phoenix, Arizona. We want to delight our guests through the ingenuity of our cocktails, the depth of flavor in our dishes, and the pleasure of good company.”
The Chandler location will be focused more on local taps and cocktails, and the Scottsdale one will be more tailored to on wine. Tyka Chheng will be behind their bar.
