BoSa Donut’s is launching a new concept called BoSa Hot Pot, according to Mouth By Southwest.

Aiming to open in the first quarter of 2024, the new business will be located in the former Dilly’s Deli space at S Farmer Ave and W University Dr in downtown Tempe, next door to a new BoSa Donuts location.

At this time, there are few details released about the restaurant or specific menu offerings, but hot pot is originally from Asia.

The traditional meal is a flavorful broth traditionally served inside a large metal pot. The broth is brought to a boil and left simmering for the duration of the meal, and raw ingredients are placed into the simmering broth and cooked.

Examples of standard hot pot selections include proteins – such as sliced lamb, beef, chicken, fish, shrimp, clams, and tofu – paired with starches like udon or glass noodles. For vegetables, common produce are bok choy, napa cabbage, spinach, lettuce, carrots, bean sprouts, potatoes, or mushrooms. The dishes typically also have a variety of condiment and topping options: hoisin sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, cilantro, minced garlic, scallion, sesame oil, chili oil, minced ginger, or chopped peanut.

BoSa Donuts did not immediately reply to What Now Phoenix for comment.
