Buck & Rider, a concept owned by LGO Hospitality, is heading for the corner of Scottsdale Road and Mayo Boulevard to open its second location.

“It’s really fun,” said owner Bob Lynn when he spoke to What Now Phoenix on Wednesday. “The restaurant we already have is super busy and has a very young point of view.”

The restaurant, a seafood and steak eatery, buys all of their seafood directly from the vendors.

“We have a van that goes to the airport every day of the week,” Lynn said. “We maintain a relationship with everybody we buy from. Our food is out of the water for less than 24 hours before it’s served.”

That relationship spans from coast-to-coast, including the Northeast, Florida and the Pacific Northwest.

“There’s fisherman all over, and everything down to the weather conditions can heavily influence the quality and everything else with the seafood. The personality varies by the location it comes from, and the whole storyline of the food is based on its original source.”

The website further states that the restaurant “prides ourselves in utmost freshness and ingredients,” with “compelling seafood and steak dishes” that are “chef-crafted with gusto.”

While no official opening date has been set, the second location for Buck & Rider hopes to be open by Spring 2022.
