Popoca will be located at 906 Washington St. in Old Oakland, Salguero confirmed via phone call this week.

Burritoholics is coming soon to Mesa! The fast-casual burrito bar was a hit in Cave Creek, where customers raved over their burritos, quesadillas, and fry plates stuffed and filled to the brim with fresh proteins and other fixings. Burritoholics left Cave Creek in 2018 but they will be returning to the Valley this year.

Owner Obed De La Cruz has filed for a liquor license at 216 W. Main St. in downtown Mesa and confirmed with What Now Phoenix this week that they look forward to opening in October. Burritoholics is the sixth Mexican food concept from the De La Cruz family, who have been serving the Valley through various ventures for more than 25 years.

Since its founding in 2017, this will be a great new chapter for Burritoholics and its customers who miss items such as the Crazy Chicken or Bird and Turf burritos. The restaurant is currently under construction in Mesa, where hungry customers are counting down the days until they can once again “feed their addiction.”
