Caffenio, an 80-year-old coffee business based out of Hermosillo, Mexico, is getting ready to enter the United States for the first time.

While the exact location of the company’s first U.S. storefront has yet to be determined, a representative from the company tells What Now Phoenix Caffenio plans to expand aggressively throughout Arizona and the Southwest in the next 36 months. When these locations open, customers can expect an authentic coffee shop potentially with a drive-thru and an outdoor space for customers. The beans used in Caffenio, 100 percent Mexican of Pluma Hidalgo Oaxaca origin, are of the highest quality.

The coffee shop offers 90 varieties of beverages and products segmented into cold, hot, and coffee beans. All of Caffenio’s products are made to satisfy all the needs of each customer, with diverse products ranging from an espresso to a latte, kfreeze, donuts, and sandwiches. When this storefront makes its debut in Arizona later this year, it will become clear why the brand has become such a popular option in Mexico.

“We have over 150 drive-thru stores and are in over 20,000 convenience stores and over 1,300 hotels and restaurants throughout Mexico,” a company representative tells What Now Phoenix. “We are famous for our quality products and speed of service, using self-service touch screens and tablets to speed up order taking, payment, and delivery, double DT lanes with over 15 car capacity, and an exclusive lane for Caffenio App orders.”
