California Fish Grill is coming to Goodyear.

The City of Goodyear posted the news on its development page, noting that the restaurant is planning a 2026 opening date. The restaurant will be located at GSQ, at the Northwest corner of Bullard Avenue and McDowell Road. When it opens, it will be the first California Fish Grill in Goodyear, and the third in the state of Arizona.

For those seeking to eat mindfully, California Fish Grill is a good choice. The restaurant serves 100% sustainably sourced seafood that comes from environmentally responsible suppliers whether it be wild-caught or farmed. According to California Fish Grill’s site, “all seafood is rated Best Choice or Good Alternative by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch program or Eco-Certified by a third party, or from a credible improvement project that exhibits credible and measurable progress toward sustainability”. In an effort towards transparency, the restaurant notes where each fish comes from, and whether it was farmed or wild caught, so consumers can make more educated decisions about their meal.

The restaurant offers fish tacos, clam chowder, fish and chips, grilled salad, and more in a fast-casual setting that allows customers to enjoy their favorite seafood dishes at value-driven prices.

The California-based restaurant has numerous locations in its flagship state, and has expanded to Nevada, Washington, and Arizona.
