Carcara to Bring ‘A Fresh Approach’ to Phoenix

The farm-to-table restaurant will open in downtown Phoenix’s Sheraton in September.

If you’re a fan of farm-to-table, more specifically Arizona farm-to-table, you’ll be happy to learn downtown Phoenix is about to get what claims to be the area’s “next award-winning farm-to-table restaurant.” Carcara wants you to know “a new beginning is just around the corner.”

Carcara will reportedly open this September in downtown Phoenix’s Sheraton. The modern eatery will bring locally-sourced ingredients to a “beautiful and intimate downtown setting.” The space will even have its own indoor tree, commissioned by local artists.

Not only will the eatery offer seasonal menus, you’ll be able to indulge in rotating weekly specials as well as a craft cocktails comprised of Carcara’s own house-infused spirits. Carcara will also offer a five-course tasting menu with selected wine pairings. Executive Chef Chaz Frankefield is behind the menus.

“We work each day to source the highest quality of ingredients including sustainably raised beef, pork, lamb, fish and poultry that is hormone and antibiotic free, all hand cut in house every day,” shares the eatery’s website.

Pulling Corks and Forks reports Carcara will open with a 7,000 square-foot indoor space and a 2,000 square-foot patio space.
