CAVA, the fast casual Mediterranean restaurant, is opening a location in Goodyear.

The City of Goodyear posted the news on its Development Map, signaling that it was arriving at Bullard Avenue and McDowell Road in 2026. Goodyear’s official site also notes that this will be the first location in Goodyear, and will join seven existing Arizona locations.

Founded in 2011, CAVA offers customizable bowls, pitas, and salads that are filled with fresh vegetables and proteins with Mediterranean touches like harissa, tahini, and tzatziki. The restaurant has been in growth mode, catering to people who are looking to eat healthful and colorful meals on the go. In addition to its restaurants, CAVA sells its own branded hummus and dips in food markets across the country.

In addition to a commitment to serving good food, the restaurant has a commitment to its employees: an average hourly wage of more than $20, health insurance, a 401K, and pet insurance are part of its workers’ compensation packages. In addition, CAVA has established a national food donation program to help the food insecure in the communities it serves.

Led by CEO and co-founder Brett Schulman, CAVA currently has 440 locations across 29 states and Washington, D.C., with plans to expand to 1,000 locations by 2032.
