Cielito Rosa Bakery, a local Mexican bakery and coffee shop, is preparing to open its first brick-and-mortar in Mesa at 1720 W Southern Avenue, Site C1.

The family-owned business will debut in a few weeks in the former home of Bearscat Bakehouse in a strip mall across from the Mesa Community College and Mesa Community Outreach Center. The new storefront is still under construction, but the owners are working tirelessly to open the site in mid-March 2024 if everything goes smoothly. The owners are trying to grow a social media presence before officially opening, according to a recent social media comment.

“First of all, we want to thank you for all the support and encouragement that you have provided to our team, we are really grateful for all of you,” according to a recent social media post. “Second, the majority of you have been extremely helpful and keep asking us how to support our business; the answer to that is simple: besides ordering from us, you can do it for free if you help us share our Instagram with your friends, family, etc. One of our goals right now is to grow a little bit our social media before we open the doors of the store, so we will really really appreciate the help.”

When the new bakery opens next month, customers can expect a variety of delicious sweets, such as brownies, cookies, macarons, cupcakes, and a lot more. On top of offering delicious Mexican and American sweets and treats, Cielito Rosa Bakery will also have vegan options. The owners are excited to get the space open and are already reminding customers of the potential of using their services for future events, such as corporate orders, weddings, birthdays, quinceañeras, and more.
