CoffeeDrunk, a popular Long Beach-based specialty coffee shop, is ready to open its first Phoenix location right in time for summer.
The company’s fourth location was recently announced on its social media, saying the beloved coffee shop will soon make its Arizona debut in the coming months. Owner Matthew Church confirms the news with What Now Phoenix and tells the publication that he hopes to have a soft open at the end of May 2025, although an exact opening date could not be shared. Church, who owns the company with his wife, Breezy Church, tells What Now that the new Phoenix location will have the same coffee menu, but there will be a few new pastry options.
CoffeeDrunk has three locations in Retro Row, Bixby Knolls, and Cal Heights, offering its unique coffee experience across Los Angeles. The original location at 2701 E 4th St opened in late 2020, quickly gaining popularity for its unique offerings like the “Instigator,” a shaken espresso with maple and brown sugar. Building on this success, the owners expanded, opening a second location in Cal Heights at 913 E Wardlow Rd in April 2023, followed by a third in Bixby Knolls at 4374 Atlantic Ave later that year. CoffeeDrunk has focused on sustainability throughout its growth, offering plastic-free packaging and collaborating with local businesses.
Now, the company will cross state lines for the first time, bringing its delicious menu. Known for its signature drink, the cafe provides a fresh twist on classic coffee beverages. In addition to their rich coffee selections, CoffeeDrunk serves refreshing drinks like the “Baby LA,” a minty, honey-vanilla blend, and the “Beach Lemonade.” With a cozy atmosphere and diverse drinks and bites, CoffeeDrunk continues to be a favorite destination for coffee enthusiasts and casual visitors.
