Crazy Mike’s Wings, the wing restaurant with a loyal following, is opening a new Peoria location.

The restaurant, located at 7425 W. Peoria Avenue, is set to open March 2026, according to owner Mike Choi.

Choi tells What Now Phoenix that this new restaurant is the start of a Crazy Mike’s Wings future, with plans to seek franchise partners in order to grow the restaurant.

Crazy Mike’s wings are considered to be some of the best in the metro Phoenix area, with a nearly perfect Yelp rating from satisfied customers. Choi says the secret to the wings is to ensure quality above everything. “I’m not trying to save money. My lemon pepper rub has more lemon in it. That costs money, but it’s the only way to make it the best.” Choi also insists on changing the fry oil daily. “Clean oil gives good flavor. We use clean oils and get the temperature right.”

The result is a wing that’s extra crispy on the outside and extra juicy on the inside. “I personally love my chicken wings,” says the restaurateur. “They’re unique and better flavored than most wings.”

Choi is constantly on the search for more flavor profiles for his sauces and rubs. Buffalo sauce, for instance, is a wing stale.  but Choi chooses to make his spicier and more vinegary than most. He also works with Asian spices to give his customers new and different tastes — like his Crazy Mike’s rub that he says needs to be experienced firsthand. “It’s hard to explain, but one bite and you know what I’m talking about.”
