Peoria may be getting a new Dutch Bros coffee shop! The coffee chain is looking to take over a one acre vacant lot at the northwest corner of 91st and Olive Avenues. A site plan pre-application is currently under review with the city, but the proposed location is not yet listed on their website.
If these plans get approved for construction, it’s possible that this brand new Dutch Bros location will not be ready to open until 2023, pending additional permitting and buildout. Representatives for Dutch Bros could not be reached for comment. In any case, this would be a welcome addition for Dutch Bros fans of the West Valley.
There are currently only two other Dutch Bros locations in Peoria; one on Thunderbird Road and another just around the corner from it on 83rd Avenue. The next closest stores would be in Glendale. Dutch Bros continues to expand its footprint in the Valley, with new drive-thrus going up in Avondale, Surprise, and on Bell Road in northern Phoenix.
The Oregon-based coffee chain has made an impression with classic drinks such as the Kicker (Irish Cream Breve), the Double Torture (Extra Double Shot Vanilla Mocha), and the Annihilator (Chocolate Macadamia Nut Breve). For those who aren’t into coffee but still looking for a kick, Dutch Bros has their own proprietary Rebel Energy Drink, which can be customized with different flavors.
