Eegee’s, a Tucson-based restaurant chain, is in the works of opening their second Valley location at 1460 S Crismon Road in Arizona.

This will be the 29th location for the chain, who recently opened their first Valley location in Gilbert, of which CEO Ron Petty noted was doing very well when he spoke to What Now Phoenix on Wednesday.

Eegee’s originally started out in 1971 as a vending truck driving around town and serving their frozen lemonade, which has now gone on to become the “eegee.”

According to the website, over time, the company “mastered our eegee to be the perfect blend of real fruit and frozen goodness.” Alongside of the frozen treats, they’ve also added sub sandwiches like the grinder and salad options to make your experience into a full meal.

The company also has a flavor of the month, which is currently Banana Blush.

In addition to the upcoming location, there’s another under construction near the southwest corner of Val Vista and the 202 in Gilbert. Eegee’s is also holding a hiring fair from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, October 9.

While no official opening date has been set for the Mesa location, Petty confirmed they were shooting for mid-November 2021.
