Mesa will enjoy bagels, coffee, and more when Einstein Bros. Bagels opens at East Gate Plaza.

The massive $60 million dollar center will encompass 17 acres of high quality retail, restaurants, and wellness facilities. The project, led by Diversified Partners and located at Ellsworth & Elliot Roads, is conveniently located near planned community, Eastmark, and the Mesa Tech Corridor. It’s scheduled to open the first quarter of 2026.

Einstein Brothers was founded in 1995 in Lakewood, Colorado to offer people a gathering place that serves bagel sandwiches, coffee drinks, and hospitality. Einstein Bros. is best known for its bagels and signature shmears — heavy-handed portions of cream cheese “shmeared” on freshly baked bagels. Currently, there are more than 700 Einstein locations in 40 states.

Einstein Bros. Bagels is part of Panera Brands, which includes Bruegger’s Bagels, Manhattan Bagel, and Noah’s NY Bagels.

Einstein Bros. Bagels joins a host of  restaurants at East Gate Plaza. According to Shopping Center Business, confirmed tenants include Starbucks Coffee, FitFX, Wing Snob, Señor Taco, Farmer Boys, Zeitouna, Fresh Monkee, Port of Subs, Ono Hawaiian BBQ, Euphoria Nail Salon, Playa Bowls, Hand & Stone Spa, Kolache Café and Andi’s Hair Salon.  The center will also house a Cambria Hotel by Choice Hotels, along with dental and medical offices, and a veterinary clinic.
