Do you remember Fazoli’s? The fast casual restaurant chain has served Italian-American dishes across the nation since its founding in the late ‘80s. There used to be a handful of locations in Arizona until 2008, when the Phoenix-area franchisee at the time closed down all of their locations.

Over a decade later, Fazoli’s will return to the Valley thanks to Kind Hospitality. CEO and President Nava Singam recently inked a multi-unit franchise deal with Fazoli’s, with intentions to open nine stores by the end of 2024. The first location is scheduled to open this fall.

“Fazoli’s is poised for strong growth in the Phoenix market and we’re excited to bring back this best-in-class brand,” Singam tells QSR Magazine. “The brand has elevated all aspects of the guest experience, from new menu items to the exceptional tableside service. This brand continues to adapt and live up to its mantra of giving guests exactly what they crave, how and when they want it.”

In his announcement, Fazoli’s President Doug Bostick added, “We’re so excited to be bringing Fazoli’s back to Phoenix and proud to partner with a talented multi-unit operator like Nava.” Under Kind Hospitality, Singam currently maintains a robust franchise portfolio of 29 locations across several brands such as Panera Bread, Macayo’s Mexican Food, O.H.S.O. Brewery and more.
